Velma M. Jordan

Velma M. Jordan, 83, of Division Street, Amsterdam, NY; passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Albany Medical Center.

Born in Limestone, Maine on November 2, 1939, she was the daughter of the late George and Arlene Durant Levesque.

Velma attended school in limestone, Maine and was a homemaker. Velma enjoyed Bingo, playing cards and going to the casinos.

On June 17, 1961, she was united in marriage to Paul Jordan, who survives at home. Velma is also survived by one daughter, Camilla Marrone of Amsterdam and one son Larry Phillips of Mountain View, Arkansas, three sisters, Lillian Pelletier, Jeanine Billhymer and Joanne Levesque, one brother, Joseph, two grandsons, Jason and Michael Marrone, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Velma was predeceased by a brother, Conrad Levesque and a sister, Simone Cameron.
