Stanford P. Warner

Stanford P. Warner, Sr. 96, of Tribes Hill, NY; passed away Sunday morning, August 28, 2022 at Wilkinson Residential Health Care Center in Amsterdam, NY.

Born in Amsterdam, NY on September 4, 1925, he was the son of the late Phillip and Mona Clark Warner.

Stanford received his education in the Amsterdam school system. He retired from Niagara Mohawk Power Company as a Utility Foreman.

Stanford was an honorably discharged United States Navy Veteran of World War II serving from 1943 to 1946.

Stanford was a parishioner and communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Tribes Hill, NY and was a member of Bergen Post # 39 in Amsterdam and the Glen Mohawk Seniors.

Stanford was predeceased by his Wife, Eleanor V. Keehan Warner on March 11, 2018 and is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Schrader (Doug) of Scotia, NY and Maureen Zabawa (Gerald) of Tribes Hill, NY; two sons, Stanford “Skip” Warner Jr., of Tribes Hill, NY and David Warner (Patty) of Johnstown, NY. six grandchildren, Erin, Jamie, Shannon, Jerry, Christine and Michelle, three great grandchildren, Thomas and Joseph Chase and J.J. Riccardi, son in law, Tom Hoffman and nieces and nephews.
Stanford was also predeceased by his daughter, Kathleen Hoffman and his brother, Warren David Warner.

Graveside services at the convenience of the family will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery in Tribes Hill, NY.
