Sandra L Plew

Sandra L. Plew, 75 of Henrietta Boulevard, Amsterdam, NY; passed away Saturday morning August 25, 2018 at home.

Born in Johnstown, NY on January 1, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Arlene Rupert Miller.

Sandra received her education in the Johnstown school system and graduated from Johnstown High School.

Sandra retired from Ward Products in Amsterdam.

She was a generous and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and wife. She loved spending time with her family; especially the holiday’s cooking and baking for her family. She also enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Sandra’s husband, Francis Plew predeceased her on July 7, 2016.

Sandra is survived by her two sons, Michael Miller of Watervliet, NY and Matthew Maloney (Denise) of Ellicott City, MD; two daughters, Christine Paris (John) and Melissa Maloney all of Amsterdam, five grandchildren, John and Kelly Paris of Amsterdam, Connor and Jordan Maloney of Ellicott City, MD; and Kinsley Jaelyn Boni of Glenville, NY; one sister, Deb Girard, an aunt, Pat Abbott and sister-in-law Shelly Miller all of Johnstown, NY. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Sandra was also predeceased by her brother, Nathan Miller and uncle, David Abbott

Calling hours are Wednesday August 29, 2018 from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010, where a prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m.
