Robert Evans

Robert E. Evans, 60 of Woodward Avenue, Gloversville, NY and formerly of Poughkeepsie, NY; passed away Thursday July 2, 2015 at Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam, NY.

Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on January 27, 1955, he is the son of Shirley Wermuth Evans and the late William James Evans.

Bob received his education in the Poughkeepsie school system and was last employed as a roofer in the Poughkeepsie area.

Bob was also predeceased by his wife, Shelia Evans.

Bob is survived by his mother and sister, Cheryl Van Vlack (David) all of Gloversville, NY and a brother, William James Evans Jr. of Elmira, NY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

It was Bob’s request that there be no calling hours or funeral services at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cremation took place at Parkview Crematorium in Schenectady, NY.
