Paul Furman

Paul Furman, 58, of Academy Street, Amsterdam, NY; passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam.
Born in Amsterdam on September 17, 1963, he was the son of the late Frank and Edith Turo Furman.

Paul received his education in the Amsterdam school system and was a 1980 graduate of Amsterdam High School.

Paul is survived by one son, Paul Furman and his fiancé, Nicole Benton of Johnstown, NY; two brothers, William Furman ( Denise) of Austin, TX and Michael Furman (Lisa) of Tampa, FL; Three grandchildren, Layla Furman, Asher Knopp and Maximus Furman. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive Paul.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010 on December 4, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to noon where funeral services will be held at noon, with Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis officiating.

Cremation was held at Park View Crematory in Schenectady, NY.

Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.
