Patricia J. Loucks, 55, of Arnold Avenue, Amsterdam, NY, passed away Wednesday morning October 22, 2014 at home.
Born in Rahway, New Jersey on September 25, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Audrey Nickerson Kling.
Patty was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School and the University of New Haven, where she received her Criminal Justice Degree. She also graduated from Schenectady County Community College with a Paralegal Degree.
Before her illness, Patty was employed as a Paralegal for the Law Office of Gerard DeCusatis, she was also secretary for former City of Amsterdam Mayor, John M. Duchessi and for Paul Tonko, when he was an assemblyman with his office in Amsterdam, NY.
Patty is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, James M. Loucks, to whom she married on her birthday. Her loving son, Jesse J. Loucks at home, three sisters, Audrey C. Cornish (William) of Monroe, NJ, Anne A. Burtt of Hagaman, NY and Elizabeth M. Bosler (Edward) of Setauket L.I., NY. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and several loving and devoted friends Patty had known for over thirty two years, also survive.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 15, 2014 at St. Mary’s Church, 156 East Main Street, Amsterdam, NY.
Calling hours will be held Friday November 14, 2014 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY.
Memorial gifts in Patty’s name may be made to St. Mary’s Institute, 10 Kopernick Blvd., Amsterdam, NY 12010.
