Patricia Edwards

Patricia V. Edwards, 72, of State Highway 30 Amsterdam, NY, passed away Monday evening July 23, 2012 at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam, NY.

Born in Amsterdam on December 27, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Ward and Sylvia Blocker Edwards,

Patty received her education in the Amsterdam school system. She also received her associates Degree from Fulton Montgomery Community College in Johnstown, NY.

Patty was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son, Ward “Eddie” Gomula of Amsterdam, two daughters, Mary Seagren of Broadalbin, NY, and Julie Mead (Dave) of Amsterdam, one brother, Richard Edwards of Virginia, four grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Patty was recently predeceased by her brother, Charles “Chub” Edwards and her sister-in-law, Dianna Edwards,

Cremation was held at Parkview Crematorium in Schenectady, NY.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Final inurnment will be at the Broadalbin - Mayfield Rural Cemetery.
