Michael P. Bielecki

Michael P. Bielecki, 73, of DeWitt Street, Amsterdam, NY; died Thursday, April 20, 2023 at River Ridge Living Center in Amsterdam.

Born in Amsterdam on November 5, 1949, he was the son of the late Peter S. and Helen A Bluvas Bielecki.

Mike received his education in the Amsterdam school system and was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch Senior High School.

Mike retired as a financial examiner for the New York State Department of Taxation & Finance.

Mike was an avid NY Yankees fan and enjoyed all sports. For many years he was the statistician for the Bishop Scully Mohawks and Amsterdam Rams

Mike is survived by his extended family and many friends.

A graveside service to which all are invited will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at St. John’s Cemetery, Widow Susan Road, Amsterdam. with the Very Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis, E.V. officiating.
