Mary A Malpass

Mary A. Madelone Malpass 94, of Cranes Hollow Road, Amsterdam, NY, passed away Friday evening, January 4, 2019 at Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility in Amsterdam.

Born in New York City on October 6, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Della Putorak Madelone

Mary received her education in the Schenectady school system and retired as an inspector from Ward Products in Amsterdam, NY.

Mary was a past member of the Cranesville Reformed Church.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm on September 13, 2018. She is survived by one son, Clifford Malpass (Karen) of Hagaman, NY; one daughter, Toni Lyn Wolf (Ron) of Acworth, GA; four grandchildren, Mary Beth Phillips of Schenectady, NY; Ryan Malpass (Natalee) of Gloversville, NY; Michael Malpass (Betsy) of Fort Johnson, NY and Tara Ryczek (Joshua) of Broadalbin, NY; eight great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Janet Beyer and Beverly Brino (Albert) also survive.

Mary was also predeceased by one brother, John Madelone, one sister, Dorothy Madelone, one granddaughter, Tracy Zullo and a grandson, Richard DiDonna Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service, which will be held¬¬¬¬¬ Wednesday morning, January 9, 2019 ¬at 11:00 a.m. at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010, with Rev. Ken Heckeler officiating.

A calling hour will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the service.

Interment will follow at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY.
