Marianne C. Barone

Marianne C. Barone, 72, of Amsterdam, NY, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam.

Born in Amsterdam on September 6, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Cosimo and Eleanor Morreale Barone.

Marianne received her education in the Amsterdam school system and was a1969 graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch Senior High School.

She was employed for several years at Coleco Industries, Wal-Mart Supercenter and Lowe’s Home Improvement stores.

Marianne is survived by her brother, Thomas Barone (Martha McCormick) of Delmar, NY and one sister; Linora Terwilliger (Milton) of Scotia, NY.. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Marianne was predeceased by her sister, Stephanie D"Angelo

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Marianne’s family Thursday morning May 30, 2024 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Very Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis, E.V. officiating.

Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Amsterdam.
