Margaret Ann Phillips

Margaret Ann Phillips, 89, of Johnstown, NY; passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville, NY.

Born in Amsterdam, NY on December 31, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Mary Graziano Saullo.

Margaret received her education in the Amsterdam school system and was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch Senior High School in Amsterdam.

Margaret was a homemaker. She was also a former member of the Perth Seniors Club.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband Thomas D. Phillips on July 22, 2003. She is survived by her sons, Thomas D. Phillips Jr. (Kathy) of Perth, NY and Brian F. Phillips (Debra) of Johnstown, NY; three grandchildren, Brandon Phillips, Sara Phillips and Ashley Monk (Nicholas) five great grandchildren, Cady Marie Francisco, Myah Francisco, Ethan Monk, Addison Monk and Meadow Phillips, Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Margaret was also predeceased by two brothers, Steven and Vincent Soulla and five sisters, Alva, Gilda, Rose, Theresa and Rita, all former Soulla’s.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family with the Very Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis, E.V. officiating.

There are no calling hours.

Interment will take place at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Amsterdam, NY.
