Kathleen L. Colwell

Kathleen L Colwell aka Grandma Premo died Sunday, January 15 at River Ridge in Amsterdam NY. Kathleen was born on September 25 1955 to Floyd and Patricia Mace of Saranac Lake NY. She enjoyed working as a teacher's aid at Christian Center Academy and working on her Uncle Tom's horse farm. Kathleen was an avid animal lover, she was loving, patient and kind. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was soft spoken. Anyone that was blessed enough to have had her in their lives can tell you she was always smiling. Kathleen will be deeply missed. She leaves behind 3 daughters, Tanya Scott of Clanton Alabama, Angelica Premo of Gloversville NY and Mary Premo of Broadalbin NY. One sister, two brothers, two sisters in law, one niece, two nephews, one son in law, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Kathleen wanted no funeral as she was estranged from some family but she wished for all of them to know that she never stopped loving them and thought of them often. A celebration of life will be held for her in the Spring in Port Henry NY where her Grandmother, Ella Mero rests in peace. All who knew her are welcome to attend.
