Karin E. Vainosky, 50, of State Highway 67, Fort Johnson, NY; passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Albany Medical Center after a long illness, her loving family by her side.
Born in Amsterdam, NY on October 19, 1970, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ellen Flanagan.
Vainosky who survives at home in Fort Johnson.
Karin received her education in the Amsterdam school system and graduated from Amsterdam High School.
She also attended Fulton-Montgomery Community College and the Branford Hall Career Institute in Albany, NY.
She was employed by the New York State Department of Transportation for many years and most recently by Community Health Center in Johnstown, NY, as a Medical Billing Specialist.
Her interest included music, antiquing, flea marketing and volunteering at the Montgomery County SPCA.
Karin is also survived by her daughter, Alison R. Suelter of Reno, NV; one son, John Page of Amsterdam, NY; one brother, Michael Vainosky (Lynn) of Amsterdam, two sisters, Ellen V. Gilston and Elaine Vainosky both of Albany, NY; her cousins, Erin Cuddy Vicinanzo of Birmingham, AL; and John Cuddy of Hagaman, NY; and her loyal canine companions, Buddy and Quigley. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.
Karin was also predeceased by her aunt Barbara Flanagan Krajewski and her former husband, John (Jack) Page.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
