Josephine T. Carpenter

Josephine T. Carpenter, 82, of Amsterdam, NY passed away Christmas Day, 2024 at Wells Nursing Home in Johnstown, NY.

Born in Amsterdam January 17, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria Swider Kosiba.

Josephine received her education in the Amsterdam school system and graduated from Wilbur H. Lynch High School.

She retired from Breton Industries, Inc., in Amsterdam.

Josephine is survived by one daughter, Robin Lynn Ludwin (Matt), three sons, Phillip Vennett Jr. (Tina), Thomas Vennett (Quenby) and Tim Vennett, five grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be private.
