John Swiatek

John J. Swiatek, 68 of Glenwild Road, Middle Grove, NY, passed away May 26, 2015 at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam, NY.

Born in Amsterdam on September 12, 1946, he was the son of the late John and Nellie Vitis Swiatek.

John received his education in the Amsterdam school system and was last employed at Salisbury Chevrolet Car Dealership as a painter.

John was best known for his love of the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisher and trapper.

John is survived by one daughter, Tammy Pudney (Ross) of Galway, NY, three sons, John Swiatek (Kim) of Waterford, NY, Peter Swiatek of Albany, NY and Erin Swiatek (Cindy) of Middle Grove, NY, one sister, Eileen Whitford (Richard) of Hagaman, NY and six grandchildren.

It was John’s request that no calling hours or funeral services are held, cremation was at Parkview Crematory in Schenectady, NY.
