Jeanette Yevoli

Jeanette Yevoli, 84 passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025.

Born in Amsterdam, NY on August 23, 1940, Jeanette was a daughter of the late Donald H. and Anne T. Weklar Martin.

Jeanette graduated from Saint Mary's Institute in 1958 and later worked at Mohasco until her daughter was born. She was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker with a special place in her heart for caring for family. Later, she worked in the cafeteria at Marie Curie Elementary School in Amsterdam. Jeanette enjoyed wagering, from street numbers to Powerball.

Jeanette was predeceased by her husband Vincent J. Yevoli Sr. who passed away in 2007, and her brothers Peter C. Martin and Robert T. Martin, sister in-law Darlene Oakes, nephew John Barone and niece MaryBeth Barone Jevitt.

Jeanette is survived by her children Nancy Yevoili (Brian Persico), Vincent J. “V.J.” (Maureen) Yevoli Jr., brother Thomas Martin, sisters: Patricia (Phillip) Barone and Eileen (Chuck) Barker, brothers in-law: Lawrence (Gloria) Yevoil and Thomas Oakes, “her precious son Michael (Shaylee) Robilotto”, grandchildren: Madelyn, Amelia and Nicolas Yevoli, Brittnie and Brianna Persico, Owen Sweeney, Carson and Amelia Jeanette Robilotto and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jeanette’s family on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 156 East Main Street. Amsterdam, NY.

Jeanette’s Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Nate Resila as celebrant.

Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
