Janice Friday, 76, of Framingham, MA, passed away Thursday September 25, 2014 at her home, after a very long illness.
Born in Amsterdam, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Irene Brickner Neill, She had been a Framingham resident for the past fifty years.
Janice graduated from the College of St. Rose in Albany, NY and was a school teacher for twenty years at St. Bridget’s and St. Tarcisius Schools in Framingham.
She was the loving wife of David Friday. They had been married for the past fifty-four years. Janice is also survived by three sons, Timothy (Elizabeth) of Southborough, MA; David (Patricia) of Franklin, MA; and Jason (Mairin) of Marshfield, MA; two daughters, Kathleen Fantoni (Paul) of Wayland, MA., and Ellen Bergmoser (David) of Cumming’s GA; one brother, William Neill (Sandy) of Elm Grove, WI; one sister, Paula Torre (Leo) of East Islip, NY and thirteen grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Relatives and friends are invited to a committal service at the Chapel at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fort Johnson, NY on Wednesday October 1, 2014 at 1:00 P.M.
Memorial gifts in Janice’s name may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
