James E. Pawloski

James E. "Plow" Pawloski, 67, of Reid Street, Amsterdam, NY; passed away from complications of COVID-19 on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

Born in Amsterdam, NY on April 2, 1954, he was the son of the late Edward and Regina Pawloski.

Jim was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch Senior High School in Amsterdam, NY.

He was a factory worker, last employed for five years by Latham Pool Products in Scotia, NY. Prior to that he was employed for close to 25 years at Fiber Glass Industries in Amsterdam, NY.

Jim is survived by his sister, Barbara Pawloski Morgan of New York, NY; two sons, Christopher Pawloski of Broadalbin, NY and Michael Pawloski of Bradenton Beach, FL; and his long-time partner, Darlene Stuart of Amsterdam, NY.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service and visitation on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Riley Mortuary, 110 Division St., Amsterdam, NY 12010, where services will also be held within this time frame. To protect all visitors, we ask that everyone wear masks, which will be provided at the door if needed. We also prefer but do not require that visitors be vaccinated against COVID -19 or have had a negative COVID - 19 test result. This is a preference not a requirement, because we do not want to exclude anyone from paying their respects.

Cremation was held at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.
