James C. Wickham

James C. Wickham Jr., 73, of Division Street, Amsterdam, NY; passed away May 22, 2020 at Albany Medical Center.

Born in Amsterdam on November 24, 1946, he is the son of James C. Wickham Sr., who survives and the late Ethel Spraker Wickham.

Jim received his education in the Amsterdam school system and was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School.

Jim was an honorably discharged United States Army veteran, serving form 1967 to 1969.

He was a member of Robert Lee Walsh American Legion Post 337 in Broadalbin and also the Fulton County Antique Car Club.

He was a Foundry man, and retired from General Electric Company in Schenectady.

Jim is survived by one daughter, Gayle Wickham Green of Rossford Ohio, one brother, Alan (Jeannette) Wickham of Broadalbin, NY, a grandson, Eric Green, three nephews, Alan Wickham Jr. (Terry), Scott Wickham and Thomas Wickham (Amy). Several great nieces and nephews also survive.

Cremation was held at Park View Crematory in Schenectady, NY.

A memorial service will be held at a later time and date to be announced.
