Gloria A. Twardzik

Gloria A.Twardzik, 97, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Mountain Valley Hospice, Gloversville, NY.

Gloria was born on June 16, 1927 in Potsdam, NY..

She graduated from St. Mary’s Institute, Amsterdam, NY. and worked as a dental technician with Hickey Dental Lab in Amsterdam, NY.

Gloria was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, Tribes Hill, NY.

She married Eugene M. Twardzik Sr. on May 31,1947.

Gloria is survived by her son, Eugene ( Mary) Twardzik, Jr., grandchildren; Thomas Vandermeulen, Kevin Twardzik and Kayla Twardzik and two nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene M. Twardzik Sr.; daughter, Mary Beth Vandermeulen, son-in-law, Thomas Vandermeulen, her parents, Geniveve and E. Raymond Lewis; and her brothers and sister.

Gloria’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Tribes Hill, NY in June 2025 with date and time to be announced.

Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Tribes Hill, NY.
