Elizabeth Ann Mahoney

Elizabeth Ann Mahoney, 66, of Amsterdam passed away Friday, January 10, 2025.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents Terrance E. and Betty Lou McClary Mahoney; her former husband Edward Austin, sister Kathleen Drenzek and brother in-law Alan Drenzek.

Elizabeth is survived by her children Jason Austin (Sara) and Jennifer Goodwin (Barry); grandchildren Lauren Austin and Taylor Goodwin; brother Terrance Mahoney (Marianne); sisters Maggie Nolan, Susan Grasso (Scott), Mary Funkhouser, Shannon Hoogkamp (William) and Heather Mendez (Jason) and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Elizabeth’s family Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, 156 East Main St., Amsterdam, NY.

Elizabeth’s Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 at the church with the Rev. Nate Resila as celebrant.

Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fort Johnson, NY 12070

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the American Cancer Society or Lung Cancer Research Foundation.
