Elizabeth Boice

Elizabeth A. “Betty” Boice, 68 of Reid Street, Amsterdam, NY; passed away Sunday morning January 17, 2016 at Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY.

Born in Amsterdam on June 25, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Helen Strait Boice.

Betty was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School in Amsterdam.

Betty was employed as an Aide at the former Montgomery Meadows for 30 years and most recently at St. Mary’s Hospital for 7 years before retiring

Betty is survived by her sister, Marilyn Warner and her niece, Theresa Denton both of Amsterdam. Several other nieces, nephews and great nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Betty was also predeceased by her son, Jason Bant.

There are no calling hours.

A graveside memorial service will be held this spring at Pine Grove Cemetery, Tribes Hill, NY.
