Born on January 14, 1934, Eleanor was the daughter of John “Jack” O’Day and Eleanor Letitia Gaffney O’Day.
She attended local schools and resided in Amsterdam for her entire life, while also cherishing her family roots in Saratoga Springs.

She is survived by her daughters, Colleen Baker (the late Richard Baker), Lori Rambler (Joseph Rambler), Lisa Sharpe, Amy Stegman (the late Rob Stegman), Carrie Hazzard and Sara Saltsman (Patrick Pryor); nine grandchildren, Carly Baker (Joe Newborn), Chantel Smith (Rich Smith), Amanda Corridon (Lucas Schaufelberg), Jeffrey Zepperi, Jack Sharpe, Anne Stegman, Claire Sharpe, Nicholas Pryor and Natalie Pryor; six great-grandchildren, Elijah, Josiah and Kaylee Newborn, Olivia Knudsen, Violet Smith and AysahZepperi; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
