Dorothy Kwiatkowski

Dorothy Kwiatkowski, 93, of Amsterdam, NY passed away at home Monday evening, December 2, 2024

Dorothy was born in Amsterdam on January 14, 1931 to the late Frank and Mary Mydlowski Piorkowski.

She graduated from St. Mary’s Institute and was employed as a bookkeeper at Almor Company and most recently Bill’s Beverage.

Dorothy enjoyed gardening, flowers, playing bingo, cooking chicken soup and above all she enjoyed keeping in touch with her sons and extended family.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is predeceased by her husband Robert, sons Mark and Michael, brother Bernard and sister in-law Dolores Piorkowski, sisters Sr. Mary Jeannette OFM, Stella Trzaskos and brother-in-law John Trzaskos, Kay Kosiba and brother-in-law William Kosiba, niece Susan Newell, nephews-in-law Lawrence Green (Oregon) and Richard Desorda (Vermont).

Survivors include son Joel (Bernice) Kwiatkowski of CA, nieces Joan (Bob) Mochrie of Perth, NY, Christine Green, OR, Frank (Marie) Piorkowski, MI,, Sandra Desorda, VT, Laurie (Timothy) Deming, SC,  nephews Robert (Pam) Kosiba, CO, Edward (Sonya) Kosiba, AL and several very special great nieces and nephews.

To honor Dorothy's wishes, there will be no funeral service.
