Diane M Crawford

Diane M. Crawford, 69, of Amsterdam, NY passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY. 

 Born in Amsterdam on December 24, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Mary Marcuccia Covey. 

 Diane graduated from Bishop Scully High School in 1974 and recently retired from her receptionist position at Amsterdam City Hall. 

 Diane is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert D. Crawford, whom she married August 4, 1974, her daughter Christie Davis (Tad) of the Town of Benson, her father-in-law Robert A. Crawford of Amsterdam, two sisters-in-law, Kathryn Barbato of Amsterdam and MaryAnn Crawford of Amsterdam, and a brother-in-law, Christopher Crawford of Johnstown, her uncle Peter Marcuccia (Patricia) of Amsterdam, several cousins, nieces, a nephew, and her beloved cats Gracie, Yogi and BooBoo, who she loved so much. 

 Diane was also predeceased by two infant sisters and her mother-in-law Marylyn Crawford.

 A prayer service will be held Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 4 p.m. with visitation immediately following until 7 p.m. at the Riley Mortuary, 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010. 

 Memorial gifts in Diane’s memory may be made to Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Road, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
