Cynthia M. Wnuk

GALWAY----Cynthia M. Wnuk, 82, of West Galway Road, Hagaman, NY; passed away April 6, 2021 at Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility in Amsterdam, after a five year courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Schenectady, NY on October 7, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Charlotte Urbanczyk Wnuk Sr.

Cindy received her education and graduated from Woestina School in Rotterdam Junction, NY.

She was employed by Canteen Food Service at General Electric, Co., in Schenectady for 36 years.

Cindy was an avid bird watcher and had love for all animals and wildlife. She also loved spending time with her granddaughters.

Cindy is survived by one son, Brian Wnuk (Amy) of Galway, NY; two granddaughters, Rachel and Anna Wnuk of Galway, two sisters, Rose Broomhall of Rotterdam, NY; Sandra Peer (Frank) of Rock City Falls, NY; three brothers, Stanley Wnuk (Idell) Town of Florida, NY; Walter Wnuk Jr. (Ginger) of Galway, NY; and Wayne Wnuk (Doreen) of Amsterdam, NY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Cindy was also predeceased by her brother Ronald Wnuk and her brother-in-law, William Broomhall.

There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
