Clara M. Snyder, of Loudonville, New York, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2018 at Florida Hospital in Tampa, Florida, surrounded by her loving immediate family.
Clara was born over one hundred years ago on August 14, 1917 in Amsterdam, New York to the late Jacob and Katherine Roman Trzaskos.
Clara was educated in the city’s public schools.
She was a remarkable woman, wife, mother, and friend, always there for those in their time of need.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Richard E. Snyder, and a granddaughter, Lisa Ann Snyder; four sisters, Ann Barzak, Dorothy Traskas [Trzaskos], Bernadine Corrigan, and Marguerite; and two brothers, Frank and Cilian.
She is survived by her Tampa family: son, Robert [Joan], granddaughter, Kristin Tonelli [Tommy], grandson, Dylan [Julie], great grandchildren, Thomas, Matthew, and Allie Tonelli and Cristina and DJ Snyder.
A private memorial service was held at Loyless Funeral Home, Land’O Lakes, Florida, and an interment on July 28, 2018 at St. John’s Cemetery in Amsterdam, NY.
