Caron Thomas

Caron Thomas, 61, of Amsterdam went home to be with the Lord on December 19, 2023 following a long illness.

Originally from Michigan, she spent the last 31 years as a resident of Amsterdam.

She was the longtime manager of Wallins Corners Apartments. She also held a Master's Degree in special needs, teaching and coaching in many capacities within the community.

Caron was predeceased by her father Gary DelFoss and mother Carol DelFoss both of Michigan.

Caron is survived by her husband, Shea Thomas, children, William Thomas, Shanna Lawlor, Daniel Thomas, David Thomas and Marie Smith; grandchildren, Rebekah, Vivian, Ruth, Jedidiah, Jason , Kalista, Talitha and Gabriel. Sisters Sheree Newman and Marsha Glasgow also of Michigan. Additionally she is survived by her extended family, Dad Timothy Bowen and Mom Joyce Bowen of Fort Johnson, NY; sisters, Tami Lawrence, Suzanne Dutcher, Kelly Lee and Elizabeth Bowen.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
