Carolyn A. Mancini

Carolyn A. Mancini, 77 of Hartley Road, Amsterdam, NY; passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam.

Born July 17, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Iacono Gabriele.

Carolyn received her education in the Amsterdam school system and was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School-Class of ‘61, where she was alsoa member of the Amsterdam Marching Rams Majorettes. She also attended Colonna School of Cosmetology in Schenectady, NY.

Carolyn was a self-employed hairdresser in Amsterdam, mainly working out of Ray’s Hair Stylist.

Throughout the years. Carolyn enjoyed her social gatherings with friends, family, and neighbors. She especially enjoyed her AHS class reunions, and her Friday night outings at the Raindancer. She will be missed by all who enjoyed her company.

Carolyn is survived by one son, J. Michael Mancini (Jennifer) of Oneonta, NY; one daughter, Maria Mancini (Tom Nethaway) of Hagaman, NY; four grandchildren, Michaela Mancini, Gillam, Jamie, and Holly Keown. Many cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery
