Caroline V. Quinion

Caroline V, Quinion, 81, of East Main St. Nelliston passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.


She was born in Schenectady on October 17, 1942 to the late John and Evelyn Tuft Freer.


Caroline graduated from Duanesburg High School and went on to earn an Associate of Science in Horticulture from SUNY Cobleskill.


She worked as a computer technician in the medical field with Kaiser Permanente, Latham, NY.


Caroline belonged to the Florida Reformed Church where she was a former Sunday School Teacher and the Town of Florida Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.


Caroline is survived by her daughters, Shirley Combs and Sherry (Keith) Rackowski each of Amsterdam, five grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremy, Benjamin, Aaron Rackowski, Quinn Combs and one great grandson Kayson James Rackowski, her sisters Sylvia (Thomas) Mc Manis, Jackolyn (Robert) Brumley, Barbara Perkins and Susan (Theodore) Beebe, her companion, Joseph Trembley and his children, Charles (Lisa) Trembley, Stephen (Shannon) Trembley, and their children Joseph, Jenna and Kendra Trembley, Kaitlyn O’Neil, Brittani Eaton-Koch and Bryan MacFadden.


Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.


Caroline was also predeceased by her former husband Raymond “Hoss” Quinion, a brother Ronald Freer, a sister Elaine Freer and her son-in-law Leonard Combs.


It was Caroline’s request that there be no funeral services.
