Carlos "Tudy" Carrero

Carlos “Tudy” Carrero, 40 of Broadalbin, NY passed away August 8, 2024 at Albany Medical Center Hospital with his family by his side.

Born in the Bronx, NY on April 19, 1984, he is a son of the late Louis and Carol Carrero.

Carlos received his education in the Amsterdam school system and was the owner of Carrero’s Cuts in Broadalbin.

Carlos is survived by his wife, Catherine Harrington Carrero; son Kaimein Carrero and daughter Ganiha Tirado; brothers, Ricardo (Jennifer) Carrero of Worcester, MA; Dominick (Nicole) Carrero of Lexington, SC; and Louis Carrero of Amsterdam, NY; aunts; Gloria Mancini, Isabel and Milagros Carrero, his in-laws Jo Ann and Timothy Harrington his sisters in-law, Cristy (Steve) Gollinger and Elizabeth Harrington ; 11 nieces and nephews, cousins and his canine and best friend, Caroline.

The funeral service for Carlos will be Tuesday August 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, with the Very Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis E.V. officiating.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Carlos’ family from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.

Interment will take place at St.Michael’s Cemetery in Amsterdam.
