Ashley M. Laporta

Ashley M. LaPorta, 34, of Rotterdam, NY; passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY.

Born in Amsterdam, NY on April 26, 1987, she was the daughter of Edward W. LaPorta Jr. and Loretta Walker LaPorta.

Ashley received her education in the Amsterdam school district and was a graduate of Amsterdam High School.

She was last employed as an assistant manager for Liberty Enterprises in Amsterdam.

Ashley was predeceased by her father, Edward W. LaPorta Jr., her maternal grandparents, Edward and Rosalie Walker and her paternal grandparents, Edward and Clara LaPorta Sr.

Ashley is survived by her daughter, Kiana Russell, her mother, Loretta LaPorta both of Fort Johnson, NY; two brothers, Josh LaPorta (Jocelyn) of Amsterdam, Lance LaPorta (Allisha) of Johnstown, NY; one sister, Michelle LaPorta and fiancé, (Nick Gallo) of Rotterdam, NY. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Cremation was held at Park View Crematory in Schenectady, NY.

Final Interment will be held at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Amsterdam, NY.

There are no calling hours. A private memorial service will be held at Crossroads Community Church at the convenience of the family.
