Arlene Cilento Cilento-Purtell

Arlene F. Cilento-Purtell, 71, of Hagaman, NY; passed away Thursday morning, May 4, 2023 at home after a brief illness.

Born in Jersey City, NJ; she was the daughter of the late John and Anne Romeo Cilento.

Arlene received her education in the Jersey City school system and was a graduate of Dickinson High School.

Arlene was employed as Chief Financial Officer at Purtell Agency in Amsterdam, NY.

Arlene is survived by her husband, Robert A. Purtell whom she married December 31, 1995, her daughter, Heather Purtell, one brother, John Cilento, two sisters, JoAnne Cilento and Diane Cilento. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Cremation was at Park View Crematory, Schenectady, NY.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated Monday, May 8, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 39 St. John Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010 with the Very Rev. Robert DeMartinis E.V. as celebrant.
