Paul Karutis

Paul Karutis, 56, of Coolidge Road, Amsterdam, NY; passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 at home.

Born in Amsterdam, NY; on March 16, 1961, he was the son of Robert Karutis (deceased) and Ruth Capala Karutis.

Paul was a graduate of Bishop Scully High School in Amsterdam.

Paul retired from the IBEW Local 236 in Albany, NY.

Paul is survived by his mother, Ruth, two brothers, James Karutis and Bob “Bo” Karutis (Jean) and his best friend and partner Nancy Flint Pabis. Four nieces and one great niece also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning, March 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY; with Fr. O. Robert DeMartinis officiating.

Interment will take place at a later date at St. Casimir’s Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call Thursday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Riley Mortuary.
