My fondest memory, of Marie, is when, it was just the two of us, putting together a jigsaw puzzle on her front porch, during the warm summer months. We had good talks and I am grateful for the 1on 1 we shared. I always looked forward to the weekend, game night, Marie would hold. Most of the kids from both families would gather at her kitchen table and play board games and eat popcorn! It was very competitive and popcorn was always delicious!
She allowed us to put on theatrical plays in her cellar and benefit carnivals in her yard. She would watch us play for hours in the sandbox while tending to her chores. I am so thankful she was a stay at home mom!
I had the pleasure of thanking her on the phone a few years back for all those precious moments! I loved her alot and learned to pray from her, by example. Marie was truly a blessing to me.
The Murphys were an extended part of our family, being a stone throw away!
Love to y'all!
